Youth Violence Symposium

Hanover Township Youth and Family Services hosted the Youth Violence Symposium in October 2017.  The Symposium was convened at the request of Hanover Township Supervisor, Brian P. McGuire to better understand what youth violence looks like within Hanover Township and to better inform the work of the Department of Youth and Family Services.

The Symposium gathered local experts from law enforcement, juvenile justice, mental health, education, human services and public health to gather information to better understand youth violence.  The department also asked youth and parents who participate in various programs and services for their input as well.
