Historical Records
This Clerk's Office maintains records from the 1850s. Proceedings of meetings for the Town Board and some proceedings of the early School Board, as well as the listing of Elected Officials throughout the years. This information is available in the original format in fine penmanship and also on microfiche. You are welcome to make an appointment to view these records at the Township or on microfiche at the Poplar Creek Public Library.
During the 2017 election, an item on the ballot passed by 58% abolishing the Township Road District. Read about this event and many more in the Our Town history booklet.
