Township veteran services is open to all veterans and their families to assist in understanding and applying for qualifying benefits. The Township can also assist veterans with securing copies of their discharge papers and provide information on disability compensation, burial benefits and allowances, hospitalization, medical care, and more. In cases where the Township cannot help, a referral can be made to a source that may help the veteran.
Veteran Services is provided at the Astor Avenue Community Center, located at 7431 Astor Avenue in Hanover Park. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
