Election and Voting
- Ballot Drop Boxes. These boxes will be placed in convenient locations throughout Illinois and Hanover Township. Boxes will be located near the Streamwood Village Hall and the Hoffman Estates Village Hall. Please click on this link BALLOT BOXES to see the complete list for Cook County Ballot Box locations.
- Voter Registration is available at the Hanover Township office in Bartlett or on-site at your home, business or other location. Please call to set-up a date for this on-site service.
- Voter Registration may also be done online cookcountyclerk.com.
- The Clerk schedules classes in conjunction with the Cook County Clerk’s Office for the Deputy Registrar Training.
- The Township Clerk coordinates Election Judge Training with the County Board of Elections.
- The Clerk furnishes applications for Mail In Ballots. This used to be called Absentee Ballots, but you no longer need to be "absent" in order to vote. You can make that choice to vote by mail. Applications are available at the Town Hall, the Senior Center or online at cookcountyclerk.com.
- The Clerk is responsible for implementing revisions and/or changes in voting procedures as directed by the Illinois State Board of Elections and the County.

3/7/2023: Voter Registration closes for Deputy Registrars and Local Election Officials
3/19/2023: Last day to Register to Vote by Online Application
3/20/2023: Early Voting begins
3/30/2023: Last day to request a Mail Ballot
4/3/2023: Last day of Early Voting
4/4/2023: Election Day
