Sharps Disposal
FOR HANOVER TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY.
The Office of Community Health will provide up to two sharps containers per year to Hanover Township Residents. Residents are required to show ID and may bring their sharps containers back to the Office of Community Health for free disposal. Click here to check if you are a resident of Hanover Township.
- Sharps Disposal Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
- Location: Community Health Office, 240 S Route 59, Bartlett, IL
- Must be a Hanover Township Resident

Kane County Residents:
DROP-OFF: There is currently only one drop-off that will accept syringes in Kane County.

Hours: M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
Guidelines: All sharps must be placed in a one-gallon or smaller plastic container (milk or laundry detergent or sharps container of the same size). The lid must be securely closed and duct taped. Sharps must be from human use only, not from animal use. Only one container per month per person.
Residents Only: Sharps will be accepted for safe disposal from Kane County residents only. Please bring ID to prove residency.

Location: Health and Human Services Department, Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates.
When: First Wednesday of the month, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
