The Office of Community Affairs is dedicated to providing Township residents with accurate and timely information in regards to all services and events offered by Hanover Township. The department is engaged in community events and actively promotes the mission and vision developed by the Township Board.

Services

The Office of Community Affairs is responsible for providing information to Township residents via press releases, website, email communications and social media postings, as well as representing the Township at community events.

The department also coordinates the Township's outreach with homeowners' associations, civic groups, chambers of commerce and other community organizations. 

Staff monitor legislation and coordinate intergovernmental relations with the federal, state, county and local officials that represent Hanover Township.

Special event management for festivities like the Fall Food Truck Festival and season shredding events are also coordinated through the Office of Community Affairs.
