Hanover Township is currently seeking to hire a full-time enthusiastic Community Health Nurse for the Office of Community Health. The Community Health Nurse is responsible for the delivery of health and wellness programs to the community. The nurse provides services to residents based on initial evaluation or per physician’s orders to include office visits, home visits, wellness screenings, health education and resource referrals. The Community Health Nurse delivers professional, skilled nursing services for Hanover Township residents and provides preventative, therapeutic and restorative aspects of nursing care based on the systematic assessment of client, family and community health needs.
The salary for this full-time, exempt position is $75,000 annually.
The hours are typically Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This is a 40-hour per week position with some evenings and weekends required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Active Illinois RN license required.
- One to three years previous nursing experience required.
