At least a dozen different explorers from other countries may have set foot in the Americas before Columbus arrived in 1942 – including the Chinese, Japanese, Polynesians, Norse, Welsh, Irish and Ancient Hebrews. We will be detectives as we consider the historical evidence – possible routes, boats that may have survived ocean travel, and artifacts that were found in the Americas that might prove this theory!
