Take a walk through the beginning of civilization and learn about the history and beauty of Hinduism. The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir encompasses: the Mandir, a place of worship for Hindu followers surrounded by historic architectural treatises; the Haveli, a unique structural complex showcasing woodworking skill of Indian craftsman; and a unique exhibition and pictorial presentation presenting facts and figurines in Hinduism. Group will be led by a tour guide through the gorgeous buildings and land. Enjoy an authentic Indian meal and stop at the gift shop for souvenirs. Please note that Hanover Township Senior Services does not identify with any religious affiliation; the nature of this trip is purely educational and culturally explorative. Please also note that this facility asks you to remove shoes once inside and not to wear sleeveless tops or shorts. Registration Required. 3 shoes
