South Carolina: Nothing Could Be Finer Than To Be In Carolina
Saturday, June 3
10:30 – 11:30 A.M. Donation: $6
In this digital presentation, we will visit Charleston, South Carolina, a city that has played a role in the American Revolution and the Civil War. In addition to touring the city, we’ll visit several plantations and the colorful countryside. We will also visit the famed Biltmore Estate and Gardens, built by George Vanderbilt, in the late 1800s. Continuing our theme of seeing how people live in the South, we’ll visit The Museum of the Cherokee Indian and small towns on our way to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where we will see the well preserved examples of a farming community in Cades Cove. Presented by world traveler Sara Drower. Light refreshments will be served. Registration required.
