Eating Healthy Series: Spice it up with Herbal Exploration

You can use herbs and spices to flavor any type of food in place of heavy oils and processed food full of sodium. Come to this HANDS ON class and apply your learned skills to flavor pastas and salads. Marilyn and Deb with show you a variety of techniques and options to flavor food. We will wrap it up with a sweet treat spiced up by you. Lunch is included, please choose: chili cheeseburger mac and cheese or baked fish with buttered potatoes and carrots; served with whole grain baguette, bibb salad, no sugar apple pie, and skim milk. Registration required.
