In February, The Poplar Creek book group will read A Hero of France, by Alan Furst on Thursday, February 9th at 10:15 am. Since 1988, Furst has become well regarded as an author of the “Night Soldiers” novels set in Europe before and during the Second World War; he is a winner of the Hammett Prize, awarded by the International Association of Crime Writers. Readers are asked to get books on your own.
