Legendary Lake Michigan Shipwrecks

Littered on the bottom of the Great Lakes are the remains of more than 600 shipwrecks gone missing since the late 1600s. Over 20 percent of those vessels have come to rest on the bottom of Lake Michigan. They became even more famous after their discoveries than at the time of their losses! You’ll learn about what caused some of these shipwrecks as well as recent efforts to conserve and preserve information and recovered artifacts. Light refreshments served. Registration required.
