The Hanover Township Summer Open Gym program will begin June 3 and run through August 9. This Free program will be offered at five schools throughout the Township as well as the Walton Youth Center & Reserve (899 Jay Street, Elgin) .
Youth will participate in a combination of team building activities, STEM (science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects. and arts and crafts activities. Open Gym is designed to give youth a safe, fun, and positive place to go that allows them to make new friends and showcase their skills while being around positive, caring adult staff.
