As home to the Renaissance, Florence has given us not just Michelangelo and Dante, but cultural enhancements such as capitalism, opera, eyeglasses, the piano, even the first public library. We’ll learn about the contest that seeded the Renaissance and look in on what many consider man’s finest work of art.
