What is love? The ancient Greek language developed specific words to describe its myriad aspects. In this talk, art historian Denise Laurin presents selected works of art that evoke the concept of love in a variety of meanings: contented, unrequited, passionate, and eternal love. The examples range from ancient to modern and come from both Western and Non-Western traditions. Registration required.
