Have you ever wanted to shoot a bow and arrow but didn’t know how or have the opportunity? Here’s your chance! The Elgin Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is offering a free introduction to archery program at the Izaak Walton Reserve in Elgin. You will learn the different parts of the equipment, safety protocols and release arrows on the Township’s very own archery range! Space is limited. Wear outdoor shoes as there is approximately a five-minute walk to the archery range on flat, unpaved terrain. The group will meet outside of the Izaak Walton Center and walk over to the range together. Registration required.
