Instructor Whitney Martin, from the Bartlett Library, facilitates the club at the Senior Center. This month’s selection is The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter by Hazel Gaynor. When a deadly hurricane approaches, two women, living a century apart, are forever linked by their instinctive acts of bravery and love. Inspired by true events, Gaynor writes a sweeping historical novel that explores how our past shapes the present and what it truly means to be courageous.
