The World’s Fairs in Chicago

The World’s Fairs in Chicago

Friday, March 10

1:00 – 2:00 P.M.         Donation: $7

Chicago had a second World’s Fair forty years after the Columbian Exposition of 1893. Like the First World’s Fair, it was constructed against all odds with a built-in Dr. Holmes in the form of Al Capone. Not only was the city in the grips of the notorious gangster, but the fair was held in the worst year of the Great Depression. This program us presented by William Hazelgrove. Registration required.
