Starting February 9 to May 3, 2016, certified primary and secondary education teachers who specialize in assisting students with homework comprehension and completion, will work with small groups of students based on age, subject matter, and learning needs identified by referring teachers. Students, who attend regularly and bring their school materials/assignments to each session, improve in academic performance and become more self-confident.
Tutoring is offered on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at the Streamwood High School Sabre Center at 701 W. Schaumburg Road in Streamwood. Our fee is $45.00 per child per semester; 10 weeks. Student must live in Hanover Township and must currently be in Grades 2 through 12. Out-of-Township residents can call (630) 483-5799 for more information. A guardian 18 years or older for 2nd through 8th grade students must remain in the building during their child’s Tutoring Session.
