What makes a person risk their lives for others? This presentation introduces stories of distinct heroism, all based in compassion for others. In occupied Italy, a nun hides Jewish women and children in her convent. In communist Cuba, one man risks his freedom to feed his starving niece and her family. Instructor: Dr. Emilie Lucchesi.
