COVID-19 mandates and requirements continue to evolve. At the time of printing, masks are required on transportation and at each venue; proof of full vaccination is also required to participate. This is subject to change. We will provide an update on requirements closer to the trip date.
- Hanover Township Day Trip Program Waiver is required at the time of payment
- Hanover Township Transportation Waiver is required if you do not previously have one on file
First, when you arrive, take a self-guided tour through the Geneva History Museum where they have a gallery with the history of Geneva and an exhibit of the 100 years of the Little Traveler. After your self-guided tour, we board our township bus and a tour guide from the Museum hops on with us and guides us on a driving tour of Geneva showing us the history of Geneva. Lunch is at The Geneva Country House after the tour. The Geneva Country House is a great spot for a quick business lunch, a relaxed dinner, or just to have a cocktail with your neighbor. It is best known for their highly acclaimed “Country Burger”, a hearty half pound served on dark rye. It was voted “Chicago’s Favorite Burger” by the readers of The Chicago Tribune. (burgerone.com)
Lunch is paid for on your own. Gratuity is NOT added to your bill. The trip departs from the Senior Center and returns to the Senior Center. Please note: Transportation service is not available upon return to the Senior Center. You are responsible for securing a ride home from the Senior Center. Payment is due April 21. Registration required.
