Many antiquities that have been found, excavated, or stolen from archeological sites end up on the black market and disappear into private collections. Many argue they are the property of those who found them, whether looters, treasure hunters, or scientists. Others believe they should be returned to their modern nation-states, or museums. Ralph Burin, Art History instructor from Harper College, will explore these and many other questions surrounding these intriguing objects. Light refreshments will be served.
