Tuesday, November 9
5:00 – 6:00 P.M. Donation: $5
In 1942, almost one-hundred U.S. Army and Navy nurses were taken prisoner of war in the South Pacific. Only a lucky few were sent home. The rest were put into concentration camps where they spent the next three years providing tireless care to other inmates. Dr. Emilie Le Beau Lucchesi tells the inspiring story of The Twelve Anchors (Navy), The Angels of Bataan (Army), and the few escaped nurses who never forgot their fellow nurses behind barbed wire. Registration required.
