Calling all book worms! Our next book club meeting will be Saturday, October 23. There is still plenty of time to read this month's book! We'll be reading "News of the World" by Paulette Jiles. Copies of the book will be available for pick up at the Senior Center in September. Following a discussion, we will view the feature film starring tom Hanks.  News of the World tells the story of a Civil War veteran who travels across the Wild Wesst to bring news of the world to local townspeople.  He agrees to rescue a young girl who was kidnapped and return her to her family.
