Born in 1926, Guy Louis Gabaldon was a street smart kid from a troubled home. In the army at 18, he was stationed in the South Pacific. In Saipan, he was horrified to see Japanese soldiers and civilians committing suicide to avoid capture. Gabaldon used his language skills and street smarts to approach the enemy and convinced them to surrender more than 1,500 soldiers and civilians. This program is presented by Author, Dr. Emilie Lucchesi. Registration required.
