Federal Reserve Money Museum Tour

Senior Program

  • Date: 01/13/2016 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Congress created the Federal Reserve System in 1913, charging it with the responsibility to foster a sound banking system and healthy economy. There are currently 12 Federal Reserve Banks nationwide, and we will be visiting our local branch on LaSalle St. in Chicago. We will be enjoying a guided tour that starts with a presentation of the functions and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve, a short video about the operations of the Chicago Fed, and a question and answer session. You will then be allowed time to explore the museum on your own. After visiting the museum we will visit Elephant & Castle for a lunch buffet including your choice of the Castle Club or Fish & Chips both served with a mixed greens salad and French fries. Lunch is included in your donation and registration is required. 630.483.5600. Donation: $25.
