Understanding and Recognizing Style, Part II
Saturday, May 11
10:30 – 11:30 A.M. Donation: $6
This presentation is the final installment of the style series. We’ll be focusing on early 20th century "isms." Participants will discover the visual clues that signal the style period or movement from which the work originates. The information is intended to make art lovers visually literate and to understand art at a glance, even if the work of art is unfamiliar or based on the use of visual elements, principles of design and subject matter. Local artist and art history professor, Denise Laurin-Donatelle, will discuss. Registration required.
