Healthy Steps in Motion

Healthy Steps in Motion (SHIM) is a comprehensive, exercise-focused fall prevention program that is designed for people of all fitness levels.  The goal of HSIM is to increase independent living in older adults by reducing the risk of falling and promoting health by building body strength, increasing flexibility and improving balance.  This is an 8 week course with weekly 1-1.5 hour sessions.  Participants should commit to attending all 8 sessions of the program.  Registration is required.  Please contact the Office of Community Health at 630-483-5665 to reserve your spot.
