The Civil War Museum in Kenosha focuses on the Civil War from the perspective of the people of the seven states of the upper Middle West: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. These seven states sent over one million men to serve in the Union army in addition to the food and materials needed to carry on the war. You will go through a docent-lead tour to be immersed in the sights and sounds of a Union Civil War camp, reflect on personal stories, and learn about the important roles of the 7 states and so much more. You will stop for lunch first at Waterfront Warehouse where you will choose lunch from a pre-selected menu. Lunch is included in the donation. Registration required. Payment is due January 17.
