We welcome those concerned about brain health, newly diagnosed with a memory concern, or suffering from early stage memory loss. In January, we will have a special presentation on The Journey Through Dementia with Mary Helen Ekstam from JourneyCare. What is dementia and how does it impact us? Is dementia the same as Alzheimer’s? Come join us as we learn the differences and find out how to make meaningful connections with someone with this illness. The February meeting will be a general meeting, so bring your questions or concerns about memory loss or cognition. Our monthly meetings are an opportunity to ask general questions or share your concerns about memory loss. You will have a chance to connect with others in similar situations. Open discussion is welcome. Social Services Staff facilitates the monthly meetings. Refreshments will be served. Registration required.
