Nature Preserve Explorers
Thursdays: July 12, 26 & August 2, 16
8:30 A.M. – Meet at Senior Center Donation: Free
Get together with your friends to explore all the great nature trails surrounding us. Be prepared for 60-90 minutes of hiking trails with stops along the way as desired. Group will meet weather permitting. A schedule of planned hikes at nature preserves/parks with directions, trail terrain and any other pertinent information, will be mailed out to you prior to the first meeting date. It is recommended that you come prepared with bug spray, sun screen, water, binoculars if desired, and proper hiking shoes. Be prepared for a variety of terrains. Please note that it is recommended that the group meets at the Senior Center before heading out the preserve/park to ensure everyone is understanding of the hiking plan. Transportation will be on your own and it is up to group members if you choose to carpool. Registration required. 4 Shoes

- July 26: Dundee River Trail Walk, Dundee
- August 2: Mallard Lake, Bloomingdale
- August 16: Poplar Creek Equestrian Trail, Hoffman Estates
