Hanover Township welcomes anyone in the community who is experiencing mild memory loss or cognitive impairment and their caregiver to the monthly Memory Café program. In September, Rebecca Freiman, from Greater Chicago Music Therapy, teaches us how music helps with cognitive skills. Her presentation focuses on social interaction, active engagement, and cognitive/ sensory stimulation. In October, Angela Scalisi uses art therapy to promote cognitive health and enhance social skills. Lunch is provided at both programs. Registration required.
